Starfish ROOM: Welcome to Loop Eternal — A musou roguelite developed by a Brazilian solo developer. On an exo-planet colonized by conservative aliens, Cat-Planet was colonized by the Starfish Spaceship. Kibo Wave needs to defend the ROOMs against monster hordes in a Loop Eternal. The game is open-source, built in GDevelop 5 — out now on Steam and Web.
What Is Starfish ROOM?
Starfish ROOM: Welcome to Loop Eternal is a musou roguelite set on an exo-planet colonized by the Starfish Spaceship. You play as Kibo Wave, defending ROOMs against endless hordes of monsters and alien invaders. Each run is different thanks to roguelite progression — die, and you’re replaced by Kikna Starlight in the next loop.
The game is developed by a solo Brazilian developer using GDevelop 5, and it’s fully open-source — the project is being built on a mobile phone, no less. The colorful, LGBTQ+-friendly sci-fi aesthetic and cat-centric alien setting give it a distinctive identity in the crowded roguelite space.
