GamerMenu is opening its doors to indie developers. A new submissions page — gamermenu.com/indie — invites solo developers and small studios to tell the site about their games, in exchange for a shot at free editorial coverage in GamerMenu’s new Indie Game News section.
What Indie Teams Get
Every submission is read by GamerMenu’s editors, and games that make the cut get a full news story built from the developer’s own materials — trailer, screenshots and store links — published in Indie Game News and the main news feed. Coverage is free at every step: no fees, no paid placements. Developers keep the rights to their materials, and their studio is credited in the story.
Who Can Submit
The page is built for games from solo developers and small teams without major publisher backing, at any stage: announced, in development, demo or beta, or already launched. PC, console, mobile, VR and web games are all welcome. According to the submission page, three things matter: gameplay the editors can actually see (screenshots, a trailer or a demo page), something to write about (a reveal, a launch window, an update or a milestone), and an indie team behind it.
Why We’re Doing This
Big outlets skip small games. Every week, indie releases with real craft land on storefronts with almost no coverage, because a three-person studio does not have a PR agency. GamerMenu wants to close some of that gap — the submission page promises that every pitch gets read, all of it, not just the first line.
A Five-Minute Form, a Reply Within 7 Days
Submitting takes about five minutes: game name, studio, platforms, genre, a one or two sentence pitch, and links such as a Steam page, an itch.io page, a trailer or a press kit. Reviews run weekly, and every developer hears back within 7 days — whether their game is featured or not. Accepted games get their story published in Indie Game News and a link to share.
Submissions are open now at gamermenu.com/indie.
