Gameloptica, an independent studio, has launched Rivalio, a free football prediction app that turns every match into a friendly competition. The studio pitches it with three words — predict, compete, climb — and the app is live now for iPhone on the App Store and for Android devices on Google Play. Rivalio is also the first game to arrive through GamerMenu’s new indie submissions channel, which invites small teams to submit their projects for coverage.
How Rivalio Works
Players predict upcoming matches from the leagues they follow, calling match winners and exact scores, with detailed picks such as goals and cards. Accurate predictions earn points — the app’s scoring screen shows an exact score hit is worth 5 points and a correct result 2 — and every player’s standing is tracked on leaderboards over time. Fans can create or join private groups, choose the leagues they want to follow, and compare their scores with friends on shared leaderboards.
Jokers and Live Match Tracking
Version 1.0.2, released on September 18, expands the app’s Joker system: players can watch a short video to unlock an extra Joker for the week, and any Joker can be moved to a different match before kick-off. The same update redesigned the live-tracking banner that shows where your match lives — swipe down and it appears on the Lock Screen — and added clearer sign-in messages, bug fixes, and privacy choices in Settings.
New Languages for a Global Audience
The update also added Arabic, Persian and Simplified Chinese, including a fully right-to-left layout for Arabic and Persian, on top of the app’s existing English interface.
A Prediction Game, Not Betting
Gameloptica is clear about what Rivalio is: a prediction and social-competition game, not a betting product. “Rivalio is not a betting or gambling app,” the studio states on the App Store listing, and no real-money wagering is involved. On the App Store the app is rated 17+ for contests and user-generated content, and players can sign in quickly with Apple or Google. The download is 86.9 MB in the Sports category, published under © 2026 Developtica.
Where to Download
Rivalio is free on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
