Banana Airways Is a Chaotic 6-Player Co-op Where the Passengers Are Cannibal Chickens — Free Demo Next Week

The worst airline in the sky is hiring. Banana Airways, an online co-op game for up to six players from developer Eggscape Entertainment, has revealed its demo ahead of Steam Next Fest — and its pitch is beautifully unhinged: you and your friends crew a low-cost airline where one player flies the plane, another fixes the engine out on the wing, and someone else serves coffee in a burning cabin.

Feed Your Passengers. Or They…

The store page’s warning is doing a lot of narrative work: feed your passengers — or they feed on you. The passengers in question are cannibal chickens, some of which turn radioactive, and the babies can be thrown off the plane. It’s the chaotic-jobs formula of Overcooked by way of a budget airline disaster, and the tone is set firmly in the comedy camp.

Demo in Next Fest, Full Game Q1 2027

The free demo arrives as part of Steam Next Fest, October 19-26, with the full game planned for Q1 2027. There’s a press kit with trailer, gameplay clips and a fact sheet at the official site for anyone who wants to pre-book their seat.

Banana Airways reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — the queue’s most reliably loud pitch this week, and the one that made us laugh first.
