Project Orion Moves Forward
CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Project Orion, the codename for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, has entered full production. The game is being developed by a combined team from CDPR’s Warsaw and Boston studios.
What We Know
The sequel will build on everything learned from Cyberpunk 2077’s rocky launch and its eventual redemption through Phantom Liberty. Details are scarce but CDPR has hinted at a new story, Unreal Engine 5 technology, improved AI and police systems.
Release Window
No release date announced yet. The Witcher 4 is expected first, with Project Orion likely after 2028.
