Everwind, an upcoming first-person sandbox survival RPG, got a comprehensive gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2025, showing off resource gathering, crafting, exploration, and combat.
Flying Island Ships
The standout feature is the ability to build your base on a flying island-ship. Instead of settling in one location, you can literally rise above the clouds and explore the world from above. It’s a unique twist on the survival formula that could set Everwind apart from the crowded field.
Co-Op Survival
Everwind supports cooperative play, letting you and your friends build, loot, and fight together while uncovering the mysteries of the world. The trailer showed diverse biomes, from dense forests to frozen peaks, each with their own resources and dangers.
Coming to PC
Everwind is currently announced for PC, with no console release mentioned. No firm release date yet, but the gameplay shown at Gamescom looked polished enough to suggest it’s not too far off.
