Run Friend Run Is a 2-8 Player Party Game Where Your Friends Are the Level Hazards — Steam Page Live

Run Friend Run key art — a panicked yellow chick character sprints from an explosion while a blue bird with a propeller backpack flies overhead amid speed lines, beneath the bold cartoon RUN FRIEND RUN! title in Canary's 2-8 player trap-laying party game

The most dangerous thing in this obstacle course is your friends. Run Friend Run, an online party game for 2–8 players from developer Canary, has revealed its Steam page along with an announcement trailer — one player races toward the finish while everyone else tries to stop them.

Trap Your Friends, Then Swap

The store page sums up the loop: hide traps where your friends least expect them, then send them flying when they get close. Players swap roles over several rounds and compete for the highest score — so the friend you launched into a pit this round is the one laying the next trap. It’s the party-racer energy flipped on its head: instead of everyone racing, most of the players ARE the level.

From the Creator of Red or Blue

Canary — the studio behind Red or Blue — lists the release date as to be announced. The announcement trailer is up, and there’s a press kit with more for the curious.

Run Friend Run reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — a trailer we watched twice, once for the pitch and once for the poor chick.
