The cozy-management genre keeps finding new things to take care of. Forester, an atmospheric forest management game by solo developer Albert Němec, is “about rebuilding a neglected woodland estate, mastering the care of the land, and finding your place among its inhabitants.”
Plant, Cut, Cultivate, Restore
The verbs are gentle but the stakes are long-term: grow a thriving forest, harvest its timber to restore the estate, and steward the land so it keeps giving back. The Steam page pitches a loop of cultivation and rebuilding a home in the woods — less tycoon spreadsheet, more quiet custodianship with an economy attached.
Steam Page Live, Demo November 17
The game’s Steam page is live now with wishlists open, and a demo is planned for November 17, 2026. The official press kit — screenshots, logos, artwork and trailer — is available at the developer’s site.
Forester reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — the queue’s calmest pitch, for players whose favorite part of survival games is the tree.
