Atlus has announced that a Metaphor: ReFantazio demo is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide, ahead of the full game’s November 2026 debut. The eShop listing is live in all regions.
What’s in the Demo
The prologue demo lets players experience the opening chapter of Metaphor: ReFantazio, Atlus and Studio Zero’s highly anticipated JRPG. According to Siliconera, the demo functions similarly to the trials Atlus released for other platforms ahead of the Switch 2 version — and save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game.
Pricing and Pre-Order Bonuses
The full game will be priced at $39.99 on Switch 2. Players who pre-order receive an Archetype EXP Chest Set containing 10 Hero’s Incenses and five Hero’s Fruits to boost Archetype experience — a meaningful head start for the game’s job-based class system.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is already out on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, having launched earlier in 2026. The Switch 2 version is the latest platform release, with the full game debuting on November 12, 2026.
