Season Structure
The RLCS 2026 season featured three splits, each with its own regional tournaments across North America, Europe, South America, Oceania, and Asia. The top teams from each region earned points toward World Championship qualification.
Breakout Teams
This season belonged to the underdogs. The new Gen.G roster shocked the scene with their aggressive 3-man rotation, while a South American team reached the semifinals for the first time ever. The meta shift toward faster, more mechanical play opened the door for younger players.
World Championship Highlights
The World Championship featured a dramatic lower-bracket run from the eventual champions, who dropped to the losers bracket in round one and won six consecutive series to claim the title. The Grand Finals went the full seven games.
