The next psychological horror to wishlist comes from a one-person studio in Ukraine. Locked In: The Ward, built in Unreal Engine 5 by solo developer GES Interactive, now has a live Steam page with wishlists open — and the studio says its gameplay reveal trailer was recently featured on IGN.
Inside Ravenrock
The setting is the abandoned Ravenrock Research Facility. You explore its medical ward, solve environmental puzzles, survive the darkness, and uncover the truth behind Subject #0012 — with stress literally distorting your perception as you go. It’s the classic abandoned-facility setup with the hook aimed straight at the horror crowd: what happened to the patient, and what does the ward do to your mind while you find out?
Wishlists Open, Release TBA
The game is in development with a release date still to be announced. The official gameplay reveal trailer is up on YouTube, wishlists are open, and a press kit is available — an unusually complete reveal package for a solo project.
Locked In: The Ward reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — a small team with a big-facility mystery.
