Build. Automate. Expand. Ascend. That four-word pitch opens the store listing for Ascendustry: Idle Mining Tycoon, an idle factory-management game from South African solo developer XMKGames that has just launched globally on Android.
An Interconnected Factory
You begin in Mining, then process resources through Smelting, Production, Manufacturing and Assembly — each compartment feeds the next, turning basic materials into increasingly advanced products. Factory automation depends on a production line that works together: balance inputs, storage and output as you expand, and make logistics decisions that help you spot shortages and keep your machines supplied.
Upgrade, Repair, Research
Machines develop through incremental upgrades — increase their capabilities, manage durability and repair equipment to keep production moving. Compartment technology trees and a Global Research layer unlock materials, expand storage and improve machine performance as the industrial network grows. Offline progress lets the factory produce between visits, within the limits of its resources, storage and machine durability — and machines that break need attention before they can continue.
Collect and Fuse Workers
Workers come in rarities from Common through Legendary; assign them to individual machines and use the fusion system to develop the collection. Their abilities can improve production speed, increase output, reduce repair costs and strengthen durability. Daily and weekly missions, login rewards and temporary boosters round out the loop for anyone building their industrial strategy on Google Play now.
Ascendustry reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — a busy week for incrementals, and if yours live on Steam instead, Mining Fire Ball launches there October 26.
