What Is Cardcraft?
Cardcraft is a card battler with a twist that sounds obvious once you hear it: you make the cards. Every card in your deck starts as a design problem — you draft it within a budget, balancing cost against power — and then you test your creations in turn-based battles against opponents doing exactly the same thing.
The concept goes back to paper cards drawn in high school. The free single-player demo is live now and received startup and guidance improvements on October 27. The full game, planned for December 2026, adds online play and Steam Workshop support. The developer notes the project uses AI-assisted development and generated art.
