Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live: All 60+ Reveals in One Place

Geoff Keighley returned to Cologne, Germany, to kick off Gamescom 2026 with a two-hour Opening Night Live showcase. Over 60 games appeared across the main show and pre-show — reveals, trailers, release dates, and a few genuine surprises. Here’s your complete guide to everything that dropped.

The Pre-Show Drops

Before Geoff even took the stage, the Kyle Bosman-hosted pre-show delivered a stack of reveals:

Worms: Galactic Tactics — a new strategy entry in the classic franchise, plus confirmation of a second Worms game in development
Train Sim World 7 — launching September 15
Roller Coaster Tycoon: Wonderworks — heading to Steam Early Access soon

Genigods: Nezha — Chinese mythology action RPG

The Main Show Openers

Geoff opened with Nodus Fall, a surprise Hoyoverse reveal — and it’s not an anime gacha. It’s a Monster Hunter-style action game on Unreal Engine 5. That was immediately followed by Rainbow 6 Tactics, an XCOM-style tactical game featuring Siege operators.
