NELUVO Is Out Now on iPhone — a One-Finger ‘Living Current’ Puzzle With No Ads or Tracking

NELUVO gameplay — the glowing cyan Living Current threads between ember-colored crystal flower gates in the Ember Bloom world of Cloverwood Studio's one-finger iPhone precision puzzle, out now on the App Store

The quietest launch of the week might also have the most interesting control scheme. NELUVO, a precision flow game from Cloverwood Studio, arrived on the App Store on October 6 — a native portrait iPhone game where you never steer the character directly. Instead, you shape a living current with one finger.

One Finger, One Current

“Touch and hold the living current, then guide it with calm, continuous movement to carry Neluvo through luminous crystal gates,” reads the App Store description. The studio’s site puts it more poetically: “You don’t steer Neluvo. You shape the space around it.” Every gesture travels through the world as light, sound and haptic rhythm — this is a game about calm, continuous movement rather than twitch reflexes, and the portrait canvas is the whole point rather than a compromise. It supports 12 languages, from English to Turkish to Korean.

Three Worlds, 27 Routes, One $2.99 Unlock

The structure is tight: three living worlds, each reframing the core mechanic. Abyssal Garden teaches smooth, stable control; Ember Bloom adds gates that move and breathe; Celestial Void counters with gravitational fields that bend the current. Across them run 27 routes in Easy, Medium and Hard, with combos, grades and immediate visual, sound and haptic feedback — plus interactive training that teaches each mechanic inside the game.

The monetization is the old-school kind. The free download includes unlimited play of all three Abyssal Garden Easy routes; one optional permanent in-app purchase — “Awakening,” at $2.99 — unlocks everything else: all three worlds, three difficulties and all 27 routes, restorable and playable offline. No ads. No tracking. The game requires iOS 15 or later, supports Game Center leaderboards and achievements, and is rated 9+ for infrequent cartoon violence.

NELUVO reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — small teams submit their games, and this one-mechanic-deep, monetization-light design stood out immediately.
