Bloodlines 2 was originally announced in 2019 with a 2020 release window. What followed was a saga — the original developer Hardsuit Labs was removed from the project, The Chinese Room took over, and the game was repeatedly delayed. Many assumed it had been quietly cancelled.
The Chinese Room’s Vision
The Chinese Room, known for narrative-focused games like Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, brings a different sensibility to the World of Darkness universe. Their version of Bloodlines 2 appears to focus heavily on narrative and atmosphere, which could be exactly what the franchise needs.
Can It Live Up to the Original?
