LUCY, a Solo-Dev Dark 2D Action Platformer, Opens Steam Wishlists With a Gameplay Trailer

LUCY key art — a rabbit-eared warrior in a red blindfold holds a bloodied sword before burning gothic ruins under a red moon, with the LUCY title in white gothic font, from the dark 2D action platformer by solo developer Yavuzhan Akbulut

A new Steam page to watch has opened for 2D action platformer fans. LUCY, developed entirely by solo developer Yavuzhan Akbulut, now has a live Steam page with wishlists open — and an official gameplay trailer giving the first proper look at what’s coming.

Rescue Run Through Dark Lands

You join Lucy on a quest to rescue her friends, through dark forests, treacherous caves and lava-filled lands. The store page promises slash-through combat, deadly traps and powerful bosses — the classic shape of a 2D action platformer, delivered in a moody dark-fantasy style that the key art wears well: a cloaked, sword-bearing figure against burning ruins and a red moon.

Solo Dev, Early Days

The game is in development with a release date still to be announced. The Steam page is live, wishlists are open, and the official trailer and press kit are already up — a confident first showing for a one-person project. Wishlist now, watch this one.

LUCY reached us through GamerMenu’s indie submissions program — exactly the kind of small-team reveal it exists to surface.
